Dear fellow bloggers...we meet once again. As the past week goes by I have received a few email with feedbacks and with some questions regarding the fate of Bloggberg Index.Let me clarify that for now Bloggberg Index is still serving its purpose to promote new blogs. But as we know it,sometimes we have to follow the wind of change and the wind is showing us the directions of content rather than just your blogs profile.I have an ambition to make this an active community,so I guess a best route would be to published members daily entries by means of collecting rss/xml/atom feeds. If you don't have one ,you can get a free service from FeedBurner .I have read most of your entries and have been trying out the output.By the way I am really trying to get to know my members everyday by reading your entries( congrats to Diyana & Azman who just celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary).I want Feedstation to take where PPS and Sarawho(both doing a great job at promoting the Malaysian/Asian blogosphere) left off by making it a more community based feed aggregator . My solution, FeedsStation .
Currently Bloggberg is collaborating with a Russian programmer who is giving me good rates thanks to my ability to speak the language. With any much luck you guys might get to use our own desktop rss reader. How cool is that to have for free?Anyway, first things first to complete the FeedsStation project. If all goes well it will be released sometime soon(one or two weeks) for beta testing. I really do hope it would be a success.

Starting from February Bloggberg will be giving away monthly awards for the blogs that I think (together with current members ,through a voting system) had done well for that particular month. In fact guys I'm gonna make it even a sweeter deal by giving away prizes to the winners.Amongst the prizes to be won are gift certificates for online products,PC games(for Malaysian adresses only),iTunes vouchers and lots more. Please do not expect big prizes for now as these come from my own pocket ,however I expect a few sponsors from Malaysia to take part as well.Your full coorperation is therefore needed to ensure that this site serves its purpose as a community platform for all Malaysian bloggers. Here are some simple rules to take part:
1)You must be a registered member of Bloggberg.
2)Your blog can be of any categories except blogs that contains pornographic materials as well promoting racism and violence.I may add to this list If I have to and i reserved my right to do so.
3)All winners can only win the award a maximum of twice yearly.
4)Bloggberg's decision is final and we don't entertain any complaints from sour grapes...

Heya folks!!!Sorry that the front page was a little empty for almost a week now.As you can see, Blogggberg is currently going through a major revamp in design and certain applications. We've decided to go with the open sourced Joomla!, and let me say that it is so far the best decision we had made. All current members need not worry as your listing(s) is still in our record but we may need to extendy our profile details as we plan to build a community platform for all our members.Considering that the majority of our members are Malaysians we would love to make an extendeded invitation for all Malaysians to join in.As for now, registration is still under construction and so you may only register somewhere end of January.Sorry for all the inconveniences...What can I say,am not good at programming and the fact I am slow at adapting to script enviroment doesn't help either(in fact after 4 hours on my pc I almost had a sudden stroke of amnesia). If any of you have any knowledge in XML and integration of Magpie RSS and willing to help with the project for some little payment , may contact me at
